Events
AFFILIATE EVENTS
These events are coordinated with our allied Groups of Interest and any other relevant parties. Do not go on a hostile team unless told to. Most events will be announced in the Joint Departmental Server, some of which will be given a 10-minute notice.
If you see a DDA member acting suspisciously, like activating a protocol, do not report it! They are probably setting up for an event!
RAIDS
Raids are our most famous events where large amounts of hostiles attack the installation. Purple Reign is called and raiders sow chaos and destruction. There are numerous types of raids and different objectives for both sides to achieve. At the end of each raid, participants will rally at the Installation Command for the points to be tallied and the winner to be declared.
RIOTS
Riots are very similar to raids, but instead, the enemy force is among Class-D personnel. Protocol Uproar is called during these and rioters are given extra equipment than usual, including juggernauts. The only GoI currently able to do these is The Serpent's Hand, which is still in development. After the riot is concluded, all participants go to the Installation Command for points to be tallied and the victor to be declared.
INFILTRATIONS
Infiltrations are like "mini-raids". A small group of hostiles are silently deployed into the installation and are in charge of dealing as much damage as possible in a short span of time. These can only be activated when 15+ combatives are online. Yellow Ember is called, not Purple Reign. There are no negotiations at the end, only a short hostile rally. Infiltrations are often called when raids are suspended.
FIRE TEAMS
Fireteam Infiltrations are quite like regular infiltrations however, they are objective-based and more widely available to Chaos Insurgency members. At least a Primary Objective must be completed for the fireteam participating to gain credit for attending. Many of the same rules apply from an Infiltration to a Fireteam Infiltration, therefore, for simplicity, the name has been shortened to Fireteam Regulations.
MERCENARY EVENTS
Mercenary (or "merc") events are when a group of hostiles helps the installation by working alongside SD. These are called when the installation is in extreme chaos and needs it badly. These events are primarily held with The Horizon Initiative but can be hosted with the Chaos Insurgency if THI is unable to do so, more commonly with the Venera Medical Division. The limit is one mercenary event per week.
OFFENSIVE RAIDS
Sometimes, the Security Department and/or Mobile Task Forces must go on the offensive against Groups of Interest. The Horizon Initiative and Chaos Insurgency have compounds in which combatives may attack in retaliation. These events aren't as common as raids or infiltrations.
SIMULATIONS
Simulations are where a certain event is simulated in a private server, typically between combatives and hostiles. These are often for training or testing purposes, especially for regulation changes. Some simulated events include raids/riots, recontainment/breaching, etc. Commands are used to make things easier.
DOMESTIC EVENTS
Domestic events are hosted within Pathos for the education or entertainment of players. All events can be hosted with Foundation Personnel and Class-Ds.
TOURS
Tours are our most widely known domestic event. During these, we tour the entire—or most important parts of—the installation. The most important information for each area is given. Certain tours, particularly Mass Tours, tour SCPs. Mass Tours are typically announced in the Public Embassy. External Representative Tours are where we tour the site to External Delegates.
QUESTIONNAIRES
As part of Class-D and Foundation Personnel education, DDA members can host questionnaires where people are allowed to ask any question they want to be answered. These leverage DDA members' expanded Pathos knowledge. These are typically hosted at the guard line. SCP Questionnaires are questionnaires held alongside an SCP, so they can answer questions as well.
SCP EVENTS
DDA can host a plethora of SCP events:
Games: Anomalies like the Bears, Fern, and Mr. Fish are great for hosting fun games with Class-Ds and Foundation Personnel! These games increase site activity by being engaging and accessible to everyone.
Demonstrations: Very similar to ScD, DDA can host events demonstrating the abilities of an anomaly. However, these events focus more on the demonstration side then the lecture side.
Feedings: On rare occasions, DDA can host feedings on hostile anomalies with extra permissions.
SURVEYS
Surveys are when a DDA member interviews a person about their general opinions on Pathos. This includes their thoughts on command members, what they would change, why they joined, etc. When surveying a Class-D, it is done in the visiting rooms at Guard Line.
